Dialing Macedonia
The other type of code is Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Macedonia. Macedonia NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Macedonia. Do not use Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Macedonia into Macedonia.
For Macedonia long distance, you have to dial Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+389 (Macedonia National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Macedonia Code or Macedonia International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Macedonia to outside Macedonia. Do not use Macedonia IDD code when dialing within Macedonia for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Macedonia from outside Macedonia, a Macedonia Country Code is used . Macedonia Country Code however is not used when dialing within Macedonia.
