Dialing Morocco
The other type of code is Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Morocco. Morocco NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Morocco. Do not use Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Morocco into Morocco.
For Morocco long distance, you have to dial Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+212 (Morocco National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Morocco Code or Morocco International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Morocco to outside Morocco. Do not use Morocco IDD code when dialing within Morocco for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Morocco from outside Morocco, a Morocco Country Code is used . Morocco Country Code however is not used when dialing within Morocco.
