Dialing Mozambique
The other type of code is Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Mozambique. Mozambique NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Mozambique. Do not use Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Mozambique into Mozambique.
For Mozambique long distance, you have to dial Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+258 (Mozambique National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Mozambique Code or Mozambique International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Mozambique to outside Mozambique. Do not use Mozambique IDD code when dialing within Mozambique for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Mozambique from outside Mozambique, a Mozambique Country Code is used . Mozambique Country Code however is not used when dialing within Mozambique.
