Dialing Panama
The other type of code is Panama National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Panama. Panama NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Panama. Do not use Panama National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Panama into Panama.
For Panama long distance, you have to dial Panama National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+507 (Panama National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Panama Code or Panama International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Panama to outside Panama. Do not use Panama IDD code when dialing within Panama for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Panama from outside Panama, a Panama Country Code is used . Panama Country Code however is not used when dialing within Panama.
