Dialing Peru
The other type of code is Peru National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Peru. Peru NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Peru. Do not use Peru National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Peru into Peru.
For Peru long distance, you have to dial Peru National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+51 (Peru National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Peru Code or Peru International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Peru to outside Peru. Do not use Peru IDD code when dialing within Peru for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Peru from outside Peru, a Peru Country Code is used . Peru Country Code however is not used when dialing within Peru.
