Dialing Poland
The other type of code is Poland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Poland. Poland NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Poland. Do not use Poland National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Poland into Poland.
For Poland long distance, you have to dial Poland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+48 (Poland National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Poland Code or Poland International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Poland to outside Poland. Do not use Poland IDD code when dialing within Poland for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Poland from outside Poland, a Poland Country Code is used . Poland Country Code however is not used when dialing within Poland.
