Dialing Qatar
The other type of code is Qatar National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Qatar. Qatar NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Qatar. Do not use Qatar National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Qatar into Qatar.
For Qatar long distance, you have to dial Qatar National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+974 (Qatar National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Qatar Code or Qatar International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Qatar to outside Qatar. Do not use Qatar IDD code when dialing within Qatar for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Qatar from outside Qatar, a Qatar Country Code is used . Qatar Country Code however is not used when dialing within Qatar.
