Dialing Senegal
The other type of code is Senegal National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Senegal. Senegal NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Senegal. Do not use Senegal National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Senegal into Senegal.
For Senegal long distance, you have to dial Senegal National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+221 (Senegal National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Senegal Code or Senegal International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Senegal to outside Senegal. Do not use Senegal IDD code when dialing within Senegal for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Senegal from outside Senegal, a Senegal Country Code is used . Senegal Country Code however is not used when dialing within Senegal.
