Dialing Ukraine
The other type of code is Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Ukraine. Ukraine NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Ukraine. Do not use Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Ukraine into Ukraine.
For Ukraine long distance, you have to dial Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+380 (Ukraine National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Ukraine Code or Ukraine International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Ukraine to outside Ukraine. Do not use Ukraine IDD code when dialing within Ukraine for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Ukraine from outside Ukraine, a Ukraine Country Code is used . Ukraine Country Code however is not used when dialing within Ukraine.
