Dialing Finland
The other type of code is Finland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD). It is used only when dialing to a destination within the Finland. Finland NDD code is only used as long distance dialing within the Finland. Do not use Finland National Direct Dialing prefix when dialing from outside Finland into Finland.
For Finland long distance, you have to dial Finland National Direct Dialing prefix (or NDD), City/ Area Code, and then the subscriber telephone number respectively as:
+358 (Finland National Direct Dialing prefix code) + City Area Code + Number you wish to call.
On the other hand, International Dialing Finland Code or Finland International Direct Dialing prefix (or IDD) is used when dialing from the Finland to outside Finland. Do not use Finland IDD code when dialing within Finland for long distance.
On the other hand, when dialing to Finland from outside Finland, a Finland Country Code is used . Finland Country Code however is not used when dialing within Finland.
